Copa Verano 01 Report from ATIA-UITF
The tournament was held on 14 February in the gymnasium
of the Club Atlético Peñarol Mar del Plata, with the participation of 283 competitors between the
categories of Gup and Dans, which were divided into Children, Cadets, Youth, Adults and Senior (Female and Male)

Attended the same schools that make up the ATIA and the guests, Academy Schools of Taekwon-Do Association Waranga,
New Era Academy, School Bandong Ryoko, Ezeiza Academy Taekwon-Do School Soo Bak Gi, Center Instructors Taekwon-Do,
UNET, Group Kim and Moo Duk Kwan.
The day featured the attendance of more than 380 people in the audience, but could not attend because it is high
capacity of the stadium, so next year we are looking to use the two fields with which the club account.
Among teachers and instructors who were present I can mention to Alexander Quadro 7th Dan, 7th Dan George Rogers,

The tournament started promptly at 9:30 am, 19:30 pm being the time of its completion. Throughout the event two
areas worked simultaneously.
It had a very good level of sport, both in Dans and in Gups.

It highlights the very good level of arbitration, which is due to prior work
being done in clinics. Both areas functioned ATIA judges and referees, we have a large quantity of them, hence
it is very tedious work and can give the necessary rest to each work group. This time it features a payroll area,
where they were concocting the same as in the areas following the competition. This allowed accuracy to meet established
schedules.
Thanks to the directors of the Club, the support provided, not only for the tournament but throughout the year
and all the instructors for their effort and commitment to the ATIA.
P.C.
I thank all for this success and the thrill of being able to have an event of this magnitude in my city, no doubt,
it is a more attractive marplatense season. And that is the starting point for another year of growth and expansion
of our partnership. |
